Lab 1
The major conclusions was an estimate of the radius of the earth that was three times too large (within an order of magnitude) and a mass estimate that was ~5000 times too large.

ReplyDeleteone of your classmates came up with a cool way to measure the mass of the earth: measure the period of a pendulum. can you figure out how you would use that, along with your measured radius of the earth, to calculate the mass of the earth?
